Only the chosen Playback Profile group (what you've called a profile)
has an effect. Withing that group, you may have as many or as few
profiles (what you've called an entry) as desired.
As stated on the wiki page, there's no reason to delete the example
groups (except if you've edited the examples and wish to go back to
their proper definitions). Read the page and I think it will explain
all you need to know.
