[mythtv-users] How do you use the commercial skipping function?

I also don't use the autoskip, but use the notify setting set to a
maximum of 5 minutes.
Another great feature is that the commercial skip back button, Q, will
skip back to where you skipped from if you press it within a few
seconds (3 I think). So, if you skip too far just hit Q and then skip
through the commercial with the 30-second skip instead.
