I don't lose any recording data at the end, the entire recording
exists but myth will quit at 55 minutes into a 60 minute recording.
Starting from the beginning and fast forwarding to minute 55 will
allow me to watch another minute or two of the show and then then myth
will quit at minute 56/57.  It's definitely not cutting the recording
short though.  I tested this by copying a recording to my laptop and
watching the entire program fine all the way to the end.

I should have mentioned as well this issue arose after setting up
VDPAU and an HD-PVR.  I've never seen the problem before upgrading to
trunk for HD-PVR support.
