The comment on the ticket wasn't a problem.  It's hard to tell whether 
it's related until you know exactly what's causing the issue.  The only 
reason I commented that it was unrelated to the original issue is to 
ensure that my commit/Refs didn't distract others from looking into the 
#7315 issue--not as a complaint about the comment's being there.  If it 
were really that big a deal I would have made another ticket or asked 
you to do so.

The only reason I handled it so quickly was because I happened to have 
noticed the issue the day before you commented on it when I ran a test 
mythtranscode on trunk just to see if it worked, so I already knew it 
existed.  I had just planned to look into fixing it after 0.22 was 
released--until your mention "made it real."  :)

Anyway, as it could be seen as a "data loss" issue, it's good to have it 
fixed before release, so I'm glad you mentioned it.
