[mythtv-users] Movies versus TV Series

Hi, all--

I'm guessing this has been asked before but I can't find it, so here it is:

Why is that MythTV is smart enough to be able to list movies, but when you
opt to record one with the "One showing of this title" it doesn't
distinguish between movies and series?

So, record "The Addams Family Movie" but get episodes of the TV series. (Or
"Josie and the Pussycats" or whatever.)
