Not really. Use VNC. That's how I configure my backend these days. I
set mine up to use a lightweight window manager like the one MythBuntu
uses and it does what I need it to do. The only thing you need X for
is to run mythtv-setup. I think you can also set the DISPLAY variable
and point it to a running X server.
