I can tell you that my fanless 8400GS runs from 65C to 80C. Maybe
higher, I have not looked at the temp while any game playing..

37C is running water cooled, I bought the bits before ion was announced so been slowly putting em together.  Main noise is the HDD. 
Not sure if there is any additional GPU benefit over noise though.  (Like stability or longevity)
