[mythtv-users] MythVideo .22RC1 playback errors

I get macroblocking in a few videos with the internal player. I had hoped
that the new version would allow me to use the internal player for
everything. Right now, I am building mplayer with the new libraries so I can
use it for the h264 files again. The internal player has improved, but I
still can't play a few files that play perfectly in mplayer with VDPAU. I do
have the frontend set to use VDPAU, but I haven't verified that the internal
player in MythVideo uses it. Playing TV recordings (ATSC) back works fine
with VDPAU though. I was just wondering if there is some troubleshooting I
can do to help debug it, logs, whatever. I might be able to snip the first
few minutes out of a file or something as well so the devs can take a look.

mplayer works, but it would be nice to have the same user experience for
everything. The videos are stored on a fileserver, but it's a really fast
server over gigabit, and mplayer works fine with it, so I doubt that's the
problem. The problems occur on a netbooted frontend and a combined BE/FE
with local storage for the OS and recordings.
