[mythtv-users] Firewire vs HD-PVR

Any reason for preferring FireWire over HD-PVR when both are
available? I'd think the latter would be preferred given smaller
recordings and (what I'd hope is)
indistinguishable-from-the-original-MPEG2 quality.
