I personally like Noctua fans - they use a unique type of bearing which
seems to work very well. You can read about them at
http://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=sso_bearing&lng=en . They build both case
fans, optimised for flow, and CPU cooling fans, optimised for overcoming
static pressure.
