I see it with all themes, including Mythcenter as well. Mythbuntu only
calls alphapulse one time. I commented out that call, and it made no
difference. According to the ticket the problem isn't the actual
alphapulse calls but the fact that everything thing is being checked
to see if it needs to pulse. So that would explain why it wouldn't
matter whether the theme actually is using the alphapulse or not.
However, this would imply that everybody would be seeing this same
behavior. But it isn't affecting everyone.
