If your asking where to put the channel changing command,you run 
mythtv-setup..Then access input connections.. Click on hdpvr,then you 
should see External channel command.. There's where you put the path to 
the script that you used to change your STB,,, Mine looks like this 
/usr/local/bin/MyBlaster.pl ...
