Mitchell,
   We're starting from the assumption that your cable provider puts
the same stuff on the cable that Comcast puts on for me.

1) You don't issue 'make'. You must issue 'make -f Makefile.hdhr' for
the HDHR software portion to be built.

2) your first test should be something simple like

scte65scan -H FFFFFFFF us-Cable-.....

Use the complete file name and if you have more than one HDHR replace
the FFFFFFFF with the ID of one of your HDHR's

With that command results will be printed to the screen and you can
report back whether anything is there.
