[mythtv-users] Can iMON Inside receiver be used with any remote?

When I got my Antec Fusion Silver (VFD-flavor) I wanted to do exactly what
you are trying to do. I was never able to get any response from the internal
IR receiver. I ended up taking my old homebrew serial IR receiver and
opening up the case and replacing the internal receiver. My motherboard had
internal serial headers, so that worked great. Note that my Antec case is
pretty old, no remote came with it when I got it, so they might be using
different hardware by now.
