[mythtv-users] Oh no it happened again! -- HDHRChan: Connection reset by peer

Every once in a while, the HDHR fails to record something (invariably one of
my wife's favorite shows), with something like this in the logs:
2009-05-11 20:29:01.450 HDHRChan(xxxxxxxx/1), Error: Set request failed
                        eno: Connection reset by peer (104)
2009-05-11 20:29:01.451 TVRec(2) Error: Failed to set channel to 5.1.
Reverting to kState_None

So we have to go to the wretched CBS web site and watch the postage stamp
size video.

I don't really know what "connection reset by peer" means, but it sure would
be nice if the HDHR could make a couple of attempts at tuning the channel
before giving up...

In the meantime, is there a workaround that would reduce the chances of this
error?  E.g., a cron job that pokes the HDHR on occasion?
