[mythtv-users] long delays responding to keystrokes and ir events

Noticing that I experienced long delays when mythfrontend was trying
to display the thumbnail video in the recordings browser, I've been
running without the video thumbnail (or the still thumbnail).  I've
not had a sever response time lag in several days over several hours
of HD content watching where this is normally a concern.  Has anyone
else noticed this?
