[mythtv-users] long delays responding to keystrokes and ir events

After making an image of my mythbuntu root drive,  I used the method
posted at  http://mythbuntu.org/auto-builds  to  upgrade my mythbuntu
installation using the Mythbuntu Weekly Build Packages available
at the "http://weeklybuilds.mythbuntu.org/mythbuntu/ppa/ubuntu intrepid
main"   repository. 

So version wise,  I'm  now at
MythTV Version   : 20282
MythTV Branch    : branches/release-0-21-fixes
Library API      : 0.21.20080304-1
Network Protocol : 40
on the Myth Frontend and Backend.

Unfortunately,  this version still seems to have the "accumulate ir
remote button presses" delay bug.  Rats! 

However, hat's off to those clever folks at  mythbuntu.org for making
this upgrade so painless.  Thank you!
