I ran into something similar to this with my internal card. My HDTV's tuner, and the listings on SiliconDust, matched; however, they didn't match what MythTV's internal scanner found. 

I posted a description of what I did to fix this a couple of weeks ago. In brief, there are two pages in the MythTV wiki on adding digital channels. They include a script that captures a few minutes of each QAM channel my card could tune into. Viewing these lets you identify the channels and write a channels.conf file. This can be imported into the Myth db using the channel scanner . . . "Import channels.conf" is one of the scan types.
