I've been pretty happy with my Zyxel DMA-1000 (not 1000W).  Rock solid unit. 
The only drawbacks that I encountered were no commercial skipping (which 
applies to all uPnP devices) and in the case of the DMA1000, no x264. 
Everything I recorded with myth OTA (ATSC) plays perfectly with it.

But no x264 is really cramping my style with "the other" stuff I want to 
play, so it's been replaced as a front end by a full front end, and used as 
a tertiary front end.
