[mythtv-users] pvr-150 lock ups on a dual tuner machine

hey guys, i have just got a hauppague pvr-150 to record analog cable tv. i
also have a pchdtv-hd 5500 running and capturing over the air. the 5500 was
installed first and works flawlessly but ive been having problems with the
150. im running mythbuntu and i edited /etc/modprobe.d and added options
ivtv ivtv_first_minor=1 which should load pvr 150 as /dev/video1. i get
everything configured in the backend and all my listings work, but when i
tune to a channel in the analog cable, it tunes and i can watch the analog
tv for about 5 minutes before the screen goes black and i get sent back to
the main myth menu. after that i can re tune to the analog stations unless i
reboot or remove and re add the card from the back end.
i read this article http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Hauppauge_PVR-150 but im not
sure how to check if i have the *cx23415/6* chipset or if thats even the
issue. im relatively comfortable using linux, im just not sure where to
start with this issue.
