[mythtv-users] cx88x audio problems

Hello Mythtv-users
I have a KWorld Hardware Mpeg TV Expert card with the blackbird chip,
and a TNJ 7751MMF tuner. Mythtv doesn't automatically find it but I used
the modprobe option "card=45" then after some googling I decided the
tuner was a MK3 type so I also used the "tuner=43" option. I did have to
input the device (/dev/video1) in the mpeg encoder card setup screen in
order for mythtv to show it as the probed card, but it seems to work, I
can tune all my analog channels and it has a very good picture, but the
audio sounds like an old vinyl record when you slow it down, women sound
like men and men sound like demons from a low budget thriller. This
happens in both recordings and live TV, I don't see any audio settings
in mythtv like there is for the software encoder cards and i assume this
is because the audio is encoded along with the video as part of the mpeg
stream. What can I do to fix this?
