I'm sorry to have not made myself clear.

I do not seem to have a problem with DVB-S2 as I can play 'BBC HD' just 
fine (after setting up the relevant lnb as the first in mythtv-setup as 
a workaround). Is this correct?

My problem is more related this bug:
