I have a frontend with the 9300IGP chip and an Intel E5200
processor(see my wiki page) . Using Jean-Yves builds I have been able
to play 1080i OTA and cable recordings via firewire from my
cableboxen.
I have Advanced 2x set as my primary decoder and what is listed as
'vdpaubasic' in the database as the fallback deint. I haven't checked
to make sure it is *actually* using Advanced 2x or not, but it is
deinterlacing and I have not yet noticed and issues with it. I'm also
using VDPAU as the decoder. I've noticed a few downloaded h264 1080p
things don't play right (the video looks funny) but other than that
all my recordings seem to play perfectly and 'top' shows CPU usage
bounce between 0-7% for mythfrontend and 0-3% for X.
once I confirm things I'll update the wiki.
