Firstly, I've just been thinking this morning that a clip with a mid-stream
resolution change would be really helpful for debugging:) Is there any
chance you can upload a small clip somewhere? - it only needs to be a few
seconds either side of the resolution change.

Otherwise what renderer are you using? If vdpau, does it work with xvideo
for example?

I've also just committed some changes to vdpau and opengl for input changes
but I can't, off the top of my head, think why it would start the recording
from the beginning again.
