The fact that myth couldn't determine what video renderer you specified 
in your custom playback profile, and that it couldn't load a deinterlace 
filter, seems to point to an incorrectly configured custom playback profile.

What happens if you use CPU++?  If that works, compare how one of the 
pre-existing profiles is setup to your custom profile, and see if you 
can figure out what you might have done wrong.
