[mythtv-users] Long delays with remote occasionally

Don't know if it's the same problem, but I had a problem a few years back that I don't think ever got fixed.

Basically menus were quick to respond until I started watching a recording, and after that they were all incredibly slow, even back on the "watch recordings" screen. 

Does your issue show the same symptoms?

I ultimately "solved" the problem by getting a new videocard and CPU, which speeded up the slow menus to the extent that I stopped noticing them.
