[mythtv-users] lirc problems in ubuntu 9.04

SOLVED!

Don't know if taking the -k switch out of the modprobe command in
/etc/init.d/lirc had anything to do with it BUT figuring that I had some bad
modules loaded I went into Synaptic and found that I had two packages
installed I didn't need:

lirc-modules-2.6.22.14-generic and lirc-modules-source 

I uninstalled those and then the output of modprobe -l |grep lirc looked
just like Jan's.

modprobe lirc_pvr150 then ran to completion.

Rebooted to get all the modules to load in the right order and all is right
with the world again!
