Neither of those stores is really a "computer" store. Any place that 
specializes in computer hardware will have SATA cards. If you live in the 
boonies (as I do, we have neither a Best Buy nor a Staples), the online 
stores have a good selection, lower prices than big boxes and will usually 
deliver overnight.

Geeks.com, for example, has 15 different SATA cards, ranging from $7.50 to 
$160.00. I'm a little surprised Newegg had only a couple of cards.
