The copyright court case in Australia was solved recently....by some
very large legal bills that Ice paid....so not sure how I feel about
this.
Having said that I've always been a fan of....locate offshore in a
different jurisdiction and have them play whack a mole so who am I to
decide on karma.

Absolutely I would pay for a commercial quality EPG in Australia, just
not
the $100/Year IceTV charges :) I guess I'd be happy with $20 - $30 /
Year
I'm surprised SD is considering it, I would have thought it was a legal
minefield in Oz.
BTW, I currently use the free web scraper Shepherd
(http://svn.whuffy.com/index.cgi/wiki) and find it pretty good.
