[mythtv-users] Issues with mythfrontend

To me, the 'get fences failed' error message indicates that you are 
having drm/dri issues, likely with the Intel driver's GEM support. Is 
suspect a mismatch between the kernel drm module's, libdrm and Mesa.

One thing you might try is using xorg.conf to disable dri.
