[mythtv-users] interesting dct-3416 firewire issue

At my parents, trying to get their computer recording from their cable
box. they only have DVR's so I'm stuck testing with a DCT-3416.

what I'm finding is that on some channels it works fine over firewire,
one certain other ones it does not, even though 5C is "off" for that
channel (verified in the diag screen for the cable box).

This is with Time Warner in Los Angeles, anyone ever see this issue
before? could it be because its a DVR?
