[mythtv-users] More hours of messing with mythtv yield zero result

My situation is slightly different from yours in that I am not
installing mythtv onto a previously built environment.

Can I perhaps suggest mythbuntu if you have the option of starting
from scratch...

I am also new to Myth and have done a full install twice with no
issues whatsoever...

I have been very pleased with just how simple the installation was...
