Do you do a lot of unclean shutdowns? XFS is built for high end
hardware (SGI) and buffers aggressively. So a crash can bring
considerable damage.

Not that I ever had a problem with it. It's a dream of an FS if you
want to, say, record a lord of the rings-length movie in high
definition (that's a big file).
