[mythtv-users] Configuring multiple video sources?

Hi!

I think I've understood that Video Sources are really program listing 
sources (strange name). But it seems very limited to only be able to 
point only one Video Source per capture card.

I am capturing via DVB-S which means that there are a lot of channels 
which are not listed in my video source (SweDB XMLTv source). If I make 
the means to fetch the listings for the other channels, how can I 
connect the new source to the DVB-S card in MythTV?

Do I need to create a video source wrapper, e.g. my own XMLTv grabber, 
which would make MythTV think that it's still getting data from one source?

And on a similar note, I would really like to see a global database of 
all channels on all satellites, which would point out which grabber 
provides the listing for each channel. Then this awkward way of mapping 
XMLTv program id to channels (manually) would be a glorious memory of 
the past. Has anyone seen something like this?
