I guess if anyone has a motherboard without a mini-PCIe, but does have
an available PCIe x1 slot, you could always use something like this:

You could at least 'play' with it on such a motherboard to see how
well it works.  Could come in handy maybe for some non-VDPAU capable
IGPs.

Never used one of those adapters, so I have no experience with knowing
if it will really work or not.
