Probably a result of the signal split two ways (3 or 4 actually since a third leg goes to a slave with two tuners.)
I've never tried the cable straight in to one PVR150 but I'm guessing it would work ok getting the full signal.
The A180 and ATSC115 both record 2-13 fine... better quality than any channel recorded with the 150s, smaller filesize so I use those for recording.

No idea how the frequencies are divided up on 2-99. Do know 2 is the worst and they appear to get progressively better up to 13. 14 and up are fine.
