[mythtv-users] Backend XML interface definition ?

Where can I find the format for the XML returned by the backened ? 
Specificly:

http://localhost:6544/xml/

I'm looking at the Nagios check_mythtv plugin, that attempts to interpret 
the Encoder state. However, my recording encoder is currently in state 6, 
and the plugin only has 5 states defined.
