Yeah, I checked them out, too.  What I've found is that I can get 
anything they show as "LOS" (line of sight) but their calculations that 
use other propagation modes seem to be overly optimistic.  The PBS 
station would have to get to me via 2-edge diffraction.  It's actually 
not much farther from me than the stations I can get, and according to 
TV Fool there should be plenty of signal, but there's terrain in the way.
