Daniel Kristjansson posted on the dev list that tomorrow is the feature freeze
date for the 0.22 release.

I'm interested in getting an old patch (ticket #3405 in Trac) included as part
of the release. To do that, it would be a big help if someone could testify
as to the stability of the patch. The patch allows Myth to get audio from
analog tuners via ALSA (e.g.: ALSA:hw:0,1) instead of OSS (e.g.: /dev/dsp1).
Since Fedora no longer supports OSS by default, this is very useful.

Is anyone out there running this patch? If the setting for the audio input of
an analog tuner (or the analog part of a DVB tuner) starts with "ALSA:" then I
believe you are using the patch. It would be a big help if someone with more
than a couple months experience with the patch would post back.

Thanks!
