[mythtv-users] Problems with mythvideo and HD-PVR recordings

I've been trying to move some movies from the MythTV recordings area
into the MythVideo area, to live among the various DVD rips. This
works fine for HDHR recordings, and for other recordings that were
transcoded to mpeg-4. But I have problems with HD-PVR recordings.
They generally work OK if I simply play from the beginning, but the
player freezes up if I try to skip or ff/rew, and logs a lot of
"Waiting for prebuffer" messages. This is a little puzzling since I
have mythvideo configured to use the Internal player for all file
types, and playback works just fine within mythfrontend. I'm using
0.21 svn20549 with the JYA VDPAU patches.

In any case, I was wondering if anyone has a magic ffmpeg command line
that would result in a more playable mythvideo file, with roughly the
same file size and quality. I tried "-vcodec copy -acodec copy" and
got a file that was about 5% smaller and wouldn't even begin to play
under mythvideo.
