[mythtv-users] Surprise! ATI drivers working with default settings

OK this surprised me. I just got a new m/b:  MSI 785GM-E65 micro-atx with integrated ATI graphics HD4200, see review:

In 4 years of using mythtv i have always used nvidia drivers because in spite of trying many times i was never able to get ATI graphics to work right in mythtv.

So this time i d/l the latest ATI Catalyst driver 9.8 and simply run the install script and reboot using the automatically generated xorg.conf with the fglrx driver. And
without changing any settings,  mythtv (0.21-fixes)  is playing my HD recordings (mpeg2 and H.264) with no problem.

I am using the new Athlon II 245 cpu (2.9GHz) and the Slim profile. Power draw listed by Kill-a-watt meter is in about 67 watts. Surprised and happy with this combo.
