OK, I was able to do what you suggested and got 180.60 installed. Do
you have any idea why doing that would cause my LIRC to stop working? I
don't see any errors in /var/log/messages or /var/log/syslog, and when I
try to start the daemon, nothing happens. When I do "lsmod |grep lirc",
no kernel modules are loaded.
Any ideas?
