[mythtv-users] No connection to the backend (again)

My myth system crashed again so this is only a week later.  This is now a
serious problem.  I looked at dmesg before power cycling this time and here
is the end of the log and yes there clearly is a segfault:

The last entry from the frontend.log.1may be of interest
2009-06-30 05:23:28.877 Received a remote 'Clear Cache' request

The first entry in frontend.log is
2009-08-17 05:30:18.856 Event socket closed. No connection to the backend.

What do I do?
