[mythtv-users] Wrong aspect Ratio on some videos with internal player

I am facing a problem lately with mythtv trunk 0.22, and I reported it as a bug, too.

The following is more or less the bug report...

Is anyone facing the same problem?

I am using VDPAU but not for these resolutios, if it makes any difference.

Apparently, any wide screen films that don't have a 16/9 aspect ratio are shown stretched vertically (long faces...:) and the edges of the film are missing (like a bad zoom effect)

The mediainfo program in openSuSE reports that they have e.g.

720x432 (2.407 aspect ratio)

720x416 (2.450)

720x432 (2.35)

to name just three of them.

Xine plays them with the correct ratio fullscreen.

This happens on both a Debian and an openSuSE 11.1 frontends. I am including the output from mythfrontend --version on both systems as well as the mediainfo report on one of them. Anything else I should include?
