All:
I had a functioning HDHomerun when I was on Comcast. A while back, I
switched to Fios and I haven't been able to get the hdhomerun to
successfully record since. It appears that there is some information
that is not available to mythtv regarding the signal as I get a
"dtv_multiplex data is required for tuning" error when I attempt to
tune a channel. Below is the myth log for a sample attempt this
afternoon (Oprah was the only HD programming available at the time).
2009-08-12 16:00:03.023 TVRec(2): HW Tuner: 2->2
2009-08-12 16:00:03.034 HDHRChan(1016826c/0), Error: dtv_multiplex
data is required for tuning
2009-08-12 16:00:03.035 TVRec(2) Error: Failed to set channel to 7_1.
Reverting to kState_None
2009-08-12 16:00:03.036 TVRec(2): Changing from Watching RecordingOnly to None
2009-08-12 16:00:03.043 AutoExpire: CalcParams(): Max required Free
Space: 1.0 GB w/freq: 15 min
2009-08-12 16:00:03.048 Canceled recording (Recorder Failed): Oprah
Winfrey: channel 3071 on cardid 2, sourceid 3
I followed the steps that I took last time in setting up the
hdhomerun, scanning for channels, setting up a separate
SchedulesDirect listing, etc. The one thing I didn't do -- and I'm
hoping to avoid -- is deleting all of the tuners and video sources and
starting over.
A look through the archives didn't reveal anything of note. Where
should I be looking?
Also, please note that I'm on mythtv 0.22:
