I am just getting started with Myth.  I purchased a Hauppauge HVR2250 PCI-e card as soon as Steven Toth released the drivers.

I couldn't be happier with it. It has an internal splitter, so you get two independent channels from one coax input.

I don't have an HDHomeRun, so I can't speak to it.  Plus I don't have the option of wiring ethernet close to my TV.
