Just to follow up - I bought this dongle and it works pretty well with
my rooftop antenna. MythTv uses it fine.
I had to get the latest firmware and compile the linuxtv drivers from
source, which was fairly trivial :) The unboxing and commands are all
on my blog (shameless plug) for those following:

yet to do are the cards IR (looks trivial) and the EPG doesn't seem to
be working... yet!
