I've just tried the radeonhd 1.2.5 driver with my X1250, and I'm still
seeing the problems from last time I tried it, whereas the radeon
6.12.2 driver works fine. Clearly others are finding radeonhd works well
for them, so my original statement wasn't accurate, but it's still the
case that people shouldn't assume radeonhd is always going to be a
better option than radeon for later cards/chips.
