I've been using the PS Mediaserver (PMS) with great success. It runs on
my house server for weeks at a time with no issues. Feeds my mkv x264
encoded videos to the ps3 with out an issue. In fact it is the only way at
the moment I am getting AC3 sound off my video, until I get my SPDIF
interface for the Myth Frontend working.
All in all, given how young PMS is it seems to be doing a pretty good job
for me.
Cheers.
