[mythtv-users] VDPAU playback stuttering when XvMC playback is just fine?

I have started having some playback problems when I updated my nvidia
drivers to 180.51 and simultaneous updated to the 20441 build from
Jean-Yves repository. I immediately started seeing slight tearing at
the top of the screen, and brief pauses and jitter. I haven't had a
chance to roll back the driver and mythtv separately to see which (if
any) of the updates introduced problems for me. Also I saw that
Jean-Yves has a newer build in the repo, so I was going to install
that and see if the issues are still there for me. I am just playing
back SD content on an 8400GS. When I get a chance I plan to test the
playback with different non-vdpau playback profiles and also trying
the older nvidia driver to see if I can narrow down what is going on
with my system.
